Remembering the iDisks window settings
iDisk Mounter checks every minute the position and size of the iDisk window. If a change was made, iDisk Mounter will save the position, the size and all other view settings.
If you mount the iDisk later again, the saved settings will be restored automatically. Please note that subfolder windows of the iDisk are not supported.
Speed Tip 1: Since the automatic check for the iDisk window settings can halt the computer every minute up to some seconds (but only on very slow connections) there is an alternative: Everytime when you drag the file "save window settings manually" onto iDisk Mounter the window settings will be saved manually. The automatic window check will be switched to OFF at the first drag.
Speed Tip 2: If you set your iDisk to list view, you should deactivate "Calculate folder sizes" under the Finders "View Options". Calculation of folder sizes is on by default and slows down the iDisk.
